GOT YOUR BACK™ Denmark is looking for a Senior Associate (lawyer)
Founded in 2020, GOT YOUR BACK™ is a leading Nordic provider of administration and depositary services for alternative investment funds as well as of corporate services to multinational groups and others. To the group’s newly established Danish office, we are now recruiting a Senior Associate.
As a Senior Associate, you will support clients in Denmark within fund services and corporate services in close collaboration with colleagues in Sweden. In addition to providing services to our clients, the role will entail responsibility and freedom to grow and develop the business and the team in Denmark. As the role will be of rather generalist character and require a broad set of competencies, the senior associate will take part in our inhouse education GYB Academy, covering areas such as private equity, fund accounting, AML and KYC, limited partnership agreements etc. Due to this education and the close collaboration with the Swedish office, occasional travel to our headquarters in Stockholm will be part of the role.

Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with investments and establishment of business in Denmark
- Provide administrative management of Danish limited companies and other legal entities
- Function as a director or legal representative of Danish companies
- Administer transactions for clients, often in cooperation with leading law firms
- Offer regular corporate legal support to clients, including preparation of corporate governance documentation
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Business development and marketing of the group in Denmark
- Support with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures
Qualifications
- Law degree (LL.M. or equivalent) with at least four years of experience in legal or financial sectors
- Strong understanding of Danish corporate law and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in Danish and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and the rest of the Office suite
- Must be based in Denmark and able to work from our Copenhagen office
